How can we make it easier and safer to cycle around Lewes? Cycle Lewes is hosting a community forum addressing how to improve cycle routes in and around Lewes Thursday, November 19 at the Town Hall at 7pm.
Lewes isn't always an easy place to cycle. Our hills, narrow streets, busy roads and the Ouse all create challenges. There are cycling routes east, west and south of Lewes, but each has its problems, while the connections through the town and to the north are still unresolved. The National Cycle Network currently stops at the edges of Lewes. There are several possible ways forward — but which improvements should we pursue, and in what order?

Pothole reporting has now been made easier thanks to the launch of the updated Cycling UK tool - Fill That Hole.
It's a popular and effective hazard reporting tool to help make UK’s roads safer - it's not just for potholes.
