Cyclists' Rights

The East Sussex CTC and Cycling UK as a whole constantly keep an eye on any new road schemes or alterations to existing roads to ensure that access and use by cyclists is not affected and also to press for better facilities & recognition for cyclists. We try to ensure that the needs of cyclists are taken into consideration along with those of motorists, for instance where new major road schemes are done there should be a safe alternative for cyclists. To this end we take part in consultations with County & District authorities about cyclists' rights both on and off-road.
